But nature calls, so what needs get done, ...... needs get done. The cold seat wasn't exactly comfortable and jolts back memories of cold mornings years ago :
- it was also a cold morning as I tip-toed down the wooden stairway. nature calls, but the toilet is located downstairs. summer time, Horten, Norway, small quiet town. the sun hardly sets but it's still chilly in the morning.
- it was also a cold morning and the fog hides the city even as we sailed in. for me, it's my first visit to Hong Kong, pearl of the orient. the fog lifted slowly and all of a sudden, I saw the beauty of this pearl. high-rise buildings upon the slopes of a somewhat mountainous terrain loomed up ahead. traditional sailing junks glides past, and the soft chucking of their engines hardly disturbs the serenity. the city seems asleep, still.
- it was also a cold morning and the wind blew the chill into our chattering teeth as we dragged ourselves out of the coach into the orchard. it was only drizzling but the wind made it unbearable. the tour guide had arranged for one of the orchard worker to brief us. a young man, a post-grad doing his Phd but works part-time at the orchard. goodness, he's moving around in shorts while we are all huddled up against each others. it is indeed a memorable tour, New Zealand.
