Is this day, just another day....

Sunday, but I will take a break from the regular weekend jogging routine. Anyway, the sky's overcast and looks like it's gonna rain again.

A few things to get done today, but let's get brunch. The little girl at the dim-sum counter in the coffee-shop downstairs, had been half teasingly, complained that I had been skipping the morning breakfast.... lolz, well maybe will please her this morning.

Gotta make a run to visit the calligraphy exhibition hosted by our calligraphy teacher. A quick look, not many pieces. I think about 30 odd scrolls. Mostly are in the running cursive script. Poems from the chinese poets, mainly on wine and drunkeness.... lolz... that's the way of the olden days poets. Like many of the pieces, nice.

Thought I could drop by over at Funan for a short errant, but looks like I am running late. The afternoon Service starts at 2.30pm. Surprisingly, no queue! Got a seat in my regular favourite section. The one thing I like about sitting in the main auditorium is that worship is always so 'immersing'. It's a long while since we last heard Pastor Joshua preached. The message is short but he's getting more and more annointed. wow, rejoice!.... 8 salvations for this service! And then a rare treat, a video recording of Booney M in the earlier service. They have such zeal and fervent for God.

Service ended exceptionally early. Dropped by the World Vision booth again. And what an encouragement! The number of sponsors and donations over the past few days were exceptional, especially for yesterday, since it was a late shopping night (Saturday). And even more unexpectedly, the Friday night ended on a very good count although I didn't stayed to see it. The Sunday crowd were alot more casual than the weekdays. Families with children, young couples, groups of teenagers, friends.... many stopped by and we had the opportunity to talk to them. It's also such joy to see the happy faces of children running around the Christmas tree. Bless them!
